Pertanyaan:
Bolehkah kita marah, kecewa, kesal gara-gara kecewa sama sesame pelayan Tuhan? Kejadian seperti ini bukan yang pertama atau kedua kali. Pengen pindah gereja!!

Jawab:
Salah satu penyebab utama seseorang kabur dari gereja adalah keekcewaan pada pemimpin atau pelayan. Biasanya itu dimulai dengan kekesalan karena pemimpin atau rekan sepelayanan yang menurut kita tidak memenuhi standar yang seharusnya dimiliki oleh seorang pelayan Tuhan. Kekesalan inilah yang terkadang jadi pertentangan dan permusuhan karena kita berusaha mengubah orang lain supaya memenuhi standar yang kita inginkan. Dan seringkali aplikasinya dengan cara-cara yang cukup keras.

Masalahnya, perubahan itu bukan suatu hal yang mudah, cepat, dan bias diterima semua orang. Pertentangan bertambah menjadi pertengkaran. Pertengkaran menjadi kepahitan dan kekecewaan. Pada akhirnya kita keluar dari gereja dan berusaha mencari gereja lain yang lebih baik dengan pelayan yang lebih sungguh-sungguh.

BUKANNYA MELARANG pindah ke gereja lain, karena dalam kenyataannya perpindahan itu terkadang diperlukan. Misalnya karena lebih cocok atau karena pindah kota. Atau juga karena pelayanan yang kita inginkan lebih berkembang di gereja lain dan alasan-alasan lain.

TAPI, perpindahan gereja karena kekecewaan TIDAK AKAN PERNAH BERHASIL.

TIDAK ADA GEREJA YANG SEMPURNA yang dipenuhi dengan orang-orang yang kudus tanpa ada cacat cela sedikitpun. Gereja terdiri dari kumpulan banyak orang, sebagian mungkin sungguh-sungguh, sebagian mungkin masih baru ‘lahir’ dan sebagian lagi mungkin orang yang menyebalkan. Ke gereja manapun kita pergi, cepat atau lambat kita akan menemukan orang-orang yang punya pandangan berbeda dengan kita.

Kecenderungan kita ketika kita menemukan orang yang pemikirannya berbeda dengan kita, kita memaksa mereka untuk berubah. Masalahnya, kita gak bisa mengubah orang lain. Perubahan hanya bias dilakukan orang itu sendiri dan kalau orang tersebut mau untuk berubah.

“Saya punya kekecewaan pada pelayan-pelayan dan pemimpin-pemimpin di gereja saya. Ada masa dimana saya bener-bener kesel dan ingin pindah ke gereja lain yang lebih baik. Saya sendiri lupa caranya saya bisa lewatin masa-masa itu tanpa kecewa berkepanjangan. Tapi saya masih menyimpan prinsip yang saya dapat dari masa-masa itu. Yang pertama, sama seperti prinsip saya mengenai pasangan, jangan hanya mencari pasangan yang tepat tapi terlebih dahulu jadilah pasangan yang tepat. Jangan hanya menjadi gereja yang baik tapi terlebih dahulu jadilah jemaat yang baik.”

Apakah Worship Leader gereja kita nyanyinya gak semangat dan kurang urapan? Jangan hanya melipat tangan dan mengomel, tapi nyanyilah dengan semangat supaya orang di sebelah kita bisa terbawa semangat juga.

Prinsip kedua, kita tidak bisa mengubah orang lain tapi kita pasti bisa merubah diri kita sendiri. Ketika kita berusaha mengubah diri kita sendiri semakin lebih baik, kita melakukannya bukan hanya supaya orang lain disekitar kita melihat dan tergerak untuk menjadi lebih baik, tapi kita melakukannya supaya kita juga tidak terseret oleh orang-orang di sekitar kita dan menjadi lebih buruk.

Tidak masalah kalau orang lain di sekeliling kamu pelayanannya gak bener. Itu urusan dan tanggung jawab mereka sendiri dengan Tuhan. Yang terpenting adalah tanggung jawab kita sendiri dengan Tuhan, jangan kecewa dan nyari gereja lain. Tetap pegang standar yang kamu inginkan, bukan hanya agar orang lain melihat dan tergerak, tapi lakukan demi diri kita sendiri supaya kita tidak terbawa dunia ini. Seperti seseorang yang berusaha berenang melawan arus, kita berenang bukan hanya untuk menaklukan sungai itu, tapi juga agar kita tidak terbawa arus.

Jangan kuatir jika ada yang memanfaatkan, cuek saja. Kalau kita bisa bertahan dan setia untuk waktu yang cukup lama, kita akan menemukan kalau orang-orang seperti itu pada akhirnya akan tersaring dan menyisakan orang-orang yang setia. Jangan kuatir kalau pelayanan itu berakhir, Tuhan akan buka pelayanan yang baru dan Tuhan aka nisi dengan pelayan-pelayan yang setia. Tapi kalau kita kecewa dan lari dari masalah kemudian pindah ke gereja lain, kita akan menemukan MASALAH YANG SAMA disana.

Ini tulisan memberkati sekali. Karena saya sendiripun, yang dari bayi sampai umur 20 tahun bergereja di gereja saya yang sekarang, juga sering melewati masa-masa sulit, kekecewaan dengan sesama pelayan Tuhan. Saya rasa semua pelayan juga pernah merasakan yak an? Kalo kata mama saya, namanya juga gereja, bukan tempat orang-orang suci doang. Gereja itu kumpulan orang-orang berdosa yang bersama-sama sedang mencari Tuhan, yang lagi sama-sama bertumbuh. Pergesekan merupakan hal yang sangat amat wajar terjadi, jadi yaaaa bertahanlah :)

Mama saya sendiri sudah di gereja saya yang sekarang ini dari jaman dia keciiilll, ikut sekolah minggu. Mungkin mulai 5/6 tahun. Mama saya punya hidup yang sulit sebagai anak ke 4 dari 12 bersaudara, dia harus mengurus dan membiayai 8 adiknya dalam keterbatasan. Emak dan engkong saya juga dipanggil Tuhan di usia yang bisa dibilang belum terlalu tua, terlalu awal, meninggalkan anak” yang masih precil-precil. Intinya, mama saya melewati banyak masa berat, gak punya apa-apa, tidak terlalu dianggap kehadirannya dalam gereja. Tapi toh karena kesetiannya mama saya mulai diangkat jadi ketua Remaja, ketua Kaum Muda, dimasanya. Hehe. Lalu jadi ketua Sekolah Minggu, dan baru-baru ini saja menjadi diaken gereja, di usia 50an. Cobaan selama 40 tahun lebih hidup di gereja saya juga gak sedikit, pasti. Tapi dengan prinsip yang dia pegang, bisa tuh bertahan. Masa-masa sulit akan selalu ada, masa-masa ingin lari dari masalah akan selalu muncul, tapi ingat, bertahanlah, pindah gereja karena kekecewaan, tidak akan berhasil.

Tetap semangat melayani ya, para pelayan Tuhan yang dikasihi Tuhan!

Yoo Jae Suk’s I’m A Man.

Anyone knows about this show?

I didn’t actually. I just heard about it few times somewhere, but I didn’t know about this show at all. Until I finally got Cable TV installed in my house, Indovision. ( I got it free for one month only T.T) I don’t want to waste this kind of facilities for nothing so I watched everything I could.

KBS, Channel M, Arirang, and One. I only watched the channels which contains about Korea and k-pop. What about the other hundreds channels ? I don’t really care I’m sorry, LOL.

And one of KBS’s program .. ’Yoo Jae Suk’s I’m A Man’ is totally a NEW WORLD for me, seriously. The show is hillarious, but sadly the rating is not that good. But for me personally, there’s an episode which gave me such a shock.

Yoo Jae Suk’s I’m A Man is show which invited around a hundreds men to the studio, share each other about experiences they had which is related with the given theme. Every episode has different theme.

There’s episode which invited men who can’t sing (tone-deaf) and shared each other how bad (and how funny) their friend treat them because they can’t sing.

And there’s episode which invited men who have lost weight more than 10 kilos. They shared each other about how hard they diet, what kind of methods they used, how people treat them before and after, and many more (this episode is damn sooooo hillariousss!)

And there’s episode which invited men who going to marry soon and their friends. An episode which gave me such a shock. I’m 20 right now, but I never know that all men have that kind of thoughts …

So in this episode they shared each other about problem they had with their soon-marriage, with their bride, the family in law and else. And there’s few question they (the invited men) all answered before the show began, and the MCs (there's more than one MC) have to guess one of their answer (among the hundreds men).

I can’t remember it very well, but there’s a question like this;

“When you and your fiancée going to shop to trying few dresses for your wedding (wedding outfit tour) what’s in your mind when she come out with the dress she try?”

usually ..

the groom will say ..

“WOW !!”

“Waaahh, you’re so beautiful ..”

Something like that.

That’s what I thought too!

But do you know what the MC and other men’s answers?

“Cotton buds!”

“Table cloth!”

And some similar things …..

And I was like .. -_______-

Ah so this is what they thought, so this is every men’s real thoughts .. I just found out because of this show. I was shock and speechless that time.

Anyway, do you know what’s the right answer?

“LOLIPOP”

He (his answer being chosen) said “She’s so thin because of her diet for our wedding, and that time she make her hair so big (the hairstyle), so when she came out I thought woah, this is it! A lollipop!”


And they all cracked up.

Men always says “Women is so complicated, I can’t understand them.”

I’m as a woman here, admit it, yes, we’re so complicated. But men is so complicated as well heyyy! How could you .. how could you .. how could you say we’re like lollipop when we trying a dress for our wedding .. we just want to look super special and perfect that day… huhuhu.

They shared how tiring it was accompanying their bride trying out this dress and that dress, and then move to another shop. Trying this and that again, and then move again. Repeat. And repeat again. Hahahhah. I admit it, and feel sorry as a woman haha.

For me, I think we just want to get the best dress. What if I decided a dress, then suddenly I find better dress on the another shop? Do you know how annoying it is for women? What? We’re so complicated? Yes we are. I admit it earlier :P

“But why you didn’t pick the dress we like?” ask Yoo Jae Suk, to Baek Ji Young (the only women there, appear as guest)

“….”

“Right!” said Yoo Jae Suk, after waiting speechless-Baek Ji Young’s answer.

They all cracked up again.


For this kind of question .. I don’t know why, as well. Hahah. I can’t answer why.

Women is complicated?

PS: This episode is worth to watch. So interesting for men, and for women. I want to write about another shocking thing like reasons why groom-soon-to-be wants to travel around by hiself before wedding, what kind of things they're still hide from their bride (another shocking answers came out), what kind of fear they'll have on first night and else. but I don't remember it very well. Just watch the show! :)

What I want to do most when I go abroad is going to its market , and buy something unique there . just like Indomart and Alfamart in Indonesia , each country has that kind of things rite ?

On my last trip , China, I visited some mini market there , and found this little cute things . keke ~ I just want to share it to you all .

First , kinds of minute maid pulpy ! In Indonesia , there's only .. 3 ? Or maybe 4 flavor . And I found the rest here !

Minute Maid with red grape flavor . honestly , it's the best flavor of minute maid . The pulpy is pieces of aloe vera .

Minute Maid with green grape flavor (I'm not sure actually . I can't read the words , no English) And the pulpy is pieces of aloe vera as well, hihi .

Minute Maid with apple flavor . Just like ordinary apple juice . The pulpy is aloe vera too .

Minute Maid with 10 kind of vegetables. Anddd ~ I don't like it AT ALL. I only drank it like one sip or two, and then I left it on my hotel room's mini bar. Some people will love it, I think. But sorry I don't . I'm not sure but I think there's no pulpy inside .

lays with kyushu seaweed flavor .just like seaweed flavor (the dark green pack) but it's taste better ! :) love it more .

um this one is little bit .. hah . I don't know . I was little bit surprised when I saw this in the mini mart . seaweed and cheese is familiar , but cucumber ? hahahaa . and the taste for me was .. quite weird . blah blah . syeba said "it's delicious , i don't feel weird .." but for me , this is the strangest taste I ever try . seriously .

I also bought this . keke ~ pocky banana ice cream and um .. some kind of milk biscuit < i don't know the name but it's delicious ! :)

this is the mineral water . 5 yuan for this . it means 7500 rupiah in indonesia (IDR) okay , it's little bit expensive . but my tour friend bought another mineral water with 10 yuan (15000 IDR) and there's even 20 yuan for a bottle of mineral water . howooo ~

Umm .. I think that's all I found . the burger in KFC Hongkong is great too . much better than Indonesia's . but I didn't take photos of it . I was in hurry that time , so I just ate that properly . hihi .

aahh and this . anything is written by Chinese . this is the cola , when we had dinner at restaurant .

okay , that's all . this is the bonus . haha . you can't find this in indonesia too ! hahahahha . how funny . I took it from the bus .
